TransitVUE® Interactive Passenger Information Kiosk

TransitVUE® Interactive Passenger Information Kiosk (IPIK) provides public transit passengers with up-to-date information, regarding anything from scheduled or real-time arrival and departure information, service alerts, connections to other methods of transportations to points of interest destinations. With our system, passengers will be able to obtain the information they need and increase their motivation to take the public transportation system.
TransitVUE® IPIK System Overview
TransitVUE® Interactive Passenger Information Kiosk (TransitVUE® IPIK), an application of TransitVUE® TPIS which is a fully integrated real-time digital signage system composed of common communication infrastructures, such as wireless or LAN, and customized equipment. The system is based on TransitVUE® Vantage user-friendly software designed specifically for digital signage in the transportation industry. TransitVUE® Passenger Information Kiosk provides transit service providers with automated and manual control of data to be displayed as helpful passenger information on interactive touch screen units.
With TransitVUE® Passenger Information Kiosk, transportation agencies are able to allow passengers to:
- View scheduled or real-time arrival and departure, route, and final destination information.
- Learn about ticket purchasing procedures, options, and pricing.
- Help find points of interest, public services, and other useful information about each stop along their transit route.
- Help plan a day long excursion or find the best route to their destination.
