FibrMat® Intrusion Detection Notification System (IDNS)
FibrMat® Intrusion Detection Notification System is an optical fiber-based, remote sensing system designed to be receptive to movement and vibration. This TransitVUE® intrusion detection system is uniquely designed to provide transit agencies with added security from unauthorized intrusions in railways, station platforms, tunnels, or Perimeter, Tunnel or Portal. Any intrusion is detected instantly and a zone intrusion alert is reported to designated personnel.
TransitVUE® Vantage Alert™ Notification & Calibration Software
The notification and calibration software allows the end-user to customize how many events will prompt an actual alarm. With the function to display visual alerts using customized rail maps, TransitVUE® Vantage Alert™ can notify security personnel quickly, so they can monitor the precise location of an occurrence and determine whether the intrusion is a threat. This ranges from a person jumping onto the track to an object being thrown onto the tracks, such as a backpack possibly filled with explosives.

FibrMat® IDNS is designed to be immune to electromagnetic interference, lightning, and radio frequency emissions. It provides protection in any low and zero visibility conditions and any weather condition. The system can be installed in zones and can easily integrate with existing security camera's to immediately pan, tilt and zoom into the exact location of the breach. If a breach is out of range for a security camera, the breach will be identified in its particular zone. The FibrMat® Notification System is totally scalable and expandable that can satisfy any size of transit agencies.
